Escaped!
Back in 1991, the civil war in former Yugoslavia escalated and Milan escaped to Germany with his wife and 3 children. He just entered the Austrian border to Germany, as he had some trouble with the ignition. He parked his Capri on a recreation area near the autobahn (motorway) as I passed him driving home from work. I saw a familiar shape of a car with a open bonnet and drove back. I told him about my Capri and offered him help and advise. After a few minutes we found a loose wire in the distributor and fixed it. The Capri started and run like new! We changed our addresses and telephone numbers and a few month's ago I got a letter from Yugoslavia. He is back in his village to build up his house, but he and his whole family is healthy and alive. The Capri is still on the road.....
